Upcoming Exhibitions

A small sampling of current exhibitions includes the masterful abstract paintings of contemporary artist Christopher Wool. Photographer Christopher Williams stimulates the conversation with The Production Line of Happiness. Ancient artifacts from When the Greeks Ruled Egypt include funeral masks, amulets, and precious metals.

  • What are the dining options?

    From fancy to casual, there are three delicious choices. Caffe Moderno offers quick bites like snacks, soups, and desserts as well as coffee, tea, and wine with a view of Griffin Court. The newly renovated Museum Café boasts self-service dining with a variety of delicious and healthy choices from around the globe. Terzo Piano is an elegant, modern space serving Italian-inspired cuisine. Reservations are strongly recommended.
  • Are there special group rates?

    The Institute has three categories of groups-adult and university groups, student groups (pre-kindergarten through 12th grade), and family community groups. Within these groups, different types of tours are available. Fees and programs vary. Call 312-857-7104 for more information.
